You can also donate online today by using giveMN.org, our secure online payment partner.  giveMN.org helps nonprofit groups manage the online donation process, for which they collect a 2.9% processing fee - the minimum fee that credit card companies charge per transaction.  This system ensures that the maximum amount of your online donation goes to children in need.

Employer Matching Donations

As a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, Fill a Mind and Heart may qualify for employee donation matches from your company.  Simply give our contact information to your employer or send us any additional forms that may be required.  You’ll help make an even greater impact!

School Supply Donations

You can donate school supplies that are either new or used but in very good shape. They should not require electricity or batteries. Needed supplies include:

Art supplies – Children’s scissors, rulers, crayons, markers, paints, brushes, colored pencils, beads, stickers.

Teaching materials - Flash cards, English language learning software, learning/educational games, alphabet posters.

Books in English - Story/reading, activity, phonics, coloring, text, games.

Cassettes/CD - Children's songs, books with cassettes.

Videos (VHS format) in English - Fictional, non-fictional, cartoons, children's themes, documentaries.

Sports equipment - Volleyballs, soccer balls, basketballs/nets, ping pong paddles/balls, books on teaching sports.

Sewing supplies - Needles for embroidery and sewing, sewing scissors, embroidery floss.

Children's Vitamins

Vitamins are difficult to find in Ethiopia, and may be of questionable quality.  Fill a Mind & Heart works to provide high-potency vitamins to the schools that we serve.  They can help provide strength to children with compromised immune systems, or give a much needed nutritional boost.
